Orlight is proud to have contributed to the redevelopment of the University of the Arts London, London College of Communication. This major project demanded a flexible, contemporary lighting solution that complements both academic and creative spaces.

A key highlight is the integration of the Cascade Linear LED Wall Lights, chosen in multiple sizes for architectural consistency and visual impact. These fittings, available in 340mm, 600mm, and 1200mm formats, deliver durable IP68-rated performance and crisp light distribution – ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

UAL, London College of Communication was further enhanced with the ORLINE 60 system, a slim linear profile offering seamless lines of illumination. Integrated across circulation and breakout spaces, it delivered both architectural definition and consistent visual comfort.

Complementing this, the project features the Ultra 4C Curved Linear Fixture, delivering striking continuous illumination with a refined curved profile. Its CRI90 option ensures true-to-life colour rendering, critical in a creative environment.

For flexibility and precision, CL Track Spotlights (CL-RS408 series) were installed throughout the scheme. These high-CRI, DALI dimmable luminaires provide targeted lighting, ideal forgalleries, studios, and circulation areas.

Finally, large-scale installations of the Vectiv Suspended Linear System provide uniform, high-output lighting for teaching and communal spaces. These fittings, with silver matt reflectors and DALI dimming, balance performance with architectural aesthetics.
