Orline Refurbishment
Client - HB Reavis · Snapchat | Location - London, UK | Year - 2023

Orlight embarked on a refurbishment project in collaboration with HB Reavies, initially supplying 263 Standard Suspended Orline and 64 Emergency fixtures. However, subsequent to the completion of the building, the fixtures were removed as the building was acquired by Snapchat.
Committed to sustainability and waste reduction, Orlight repurchased the fixtures to prevent them from going to landfill.
The refurbishment process began with thorough quality assessments, including physical and technical checks of each fixture to identify damage, test compliance, and determine the required refurbishment work.

Sustainability Initiative
Orlight’s refurbishment initiative supports sustainability by reducing waste, extending the lifespan of existing fixtures, and limiting the need for new production. Through repurchasing, refurbishing, and replacing key components such as batteries, the fixtures were restored to remain functional, efficient, and environmentally responsible.
CASE STUDY 2
Luminaire Refurbishment
Client - Arena Electrical Services Ltd | Location - United Kingdom | Year - 2023
Arena Electrical Services Ltd enlisted Orlight for the refurbishment of a track-mounted luminaire with an inadequate rod height for ceiling suspension.
Orlight collected a sample from the site and conducted a comprehensive quality check of all components.
Subsequently, a solution was developed to rewire the luminaire, increase the rod height, reduce the track mount by 76 mm, and incorporate an additional 30 mm adjustment for levelling.

Orlight’s refurbishment for Arena Electrical Services Ltd highlights its commitment to sustainability — refurbishing the luminaire instead of discarding it, reusing packaging, recycling original rods, and manufacturing bespoke replacement components to reduce waste and extend the product’s lifespan.

External Roof Lights Refurbishment
Client - Decker Limited Solutions | Location - London, UK | Year - 2024
Orlight partnered with PECT at a commercial property in London. Following a comprehensive inspection and quality assessment, it was determined that the existing luminaires required a light source suitable for long-term external use.
To extend the service life of the fittings, Orlight carried out a complete refurbishment, integrating IP68-rated Lumenflex, rewiring each luminaire, and installing new drivers to restore performance, reliability, and weather resistance.
