As part of the regeneration of Plumstead and West Thamesmead, Orlight were selected to provide a comprehensive lighting package for Block 8. The scheme focused on durability, performance and clean design, supporting both residential interiors and communal spaces.

The specification centred on ORL1005 downlights in white RAL 9016, delivering discreet and efficient illumination across apartments and shared areas. These were supported by ShowerSpot IP65 recessed downlights , offering reliable protection in bathrooms and wet zones.

For circulation and back-of-house areas, robust solutions were introduced including LEO455 surface-mounted luminaires, ORLWP5 Weatherpack battens, and LEO455 Wall Lights, many supplied in emergency versions to ensure compliance.

Additional architectural detailing was achieved with EVO LED strips integrated into aluminium housings and complemented by Eclipse decorative wall fixtures, adding refinement to selected areas.

Through this coordinated package, Orlight delivered a lighting scheme that enhances both functionality and atmosphere, supporting the delivery of a new, high-quality residential community in Thamesmead.
