We are very proud to have achieved recertification of both our ISO Certifications. Becoming recertified was a rigorous and in-depth process, requiring the participation of our entire business. This achievement represents a third-party validation of Orlight’s longstanding commitment to quality processes, reducing environmental impact, and the health and safety of our associates.
Our ISO 14001 certification was incredibly important to us. It is a reflection of our ongoing commitment as a company in preserving and protecting our environment for years to come. Our current EMS not only emphasizes the products and procedures of our business that may affect our environment, but also focuses on continuous improvement in those areas as well. Projects such as energy reduction, waste reduction, water conservation, recycling (paper, plastic, cans, and oil), storm water management, and awareness training have strengthened our operations to be more sustainable and reliable in dealing with environmental challenges. Most importantly, in today’s environmental revolution, our team’s dedication, cooperation, and support have made it possible for us to implement and maintain a successful system. This has been a total team effort for which we are all very proud.
