Pendry Hotel, Barbados

The Pendry Hotel in Barbados has been designed as a luxurious resort destination combining modern architecture with refined Caribbean character. Orlight supplied a tailored lighting package centred on flexible LED strip solutions to achieve a warm, atmospheric effect throughout guest bedrooms.

The project utilised the EVO4 LED Strip system, a high-performance linear solution offering 10W per metre output with selectable colour temperatures between 1800K and 3000K. This provided designers with the versatility to balance intimate ambience and functional illumination, enhancing both guestrooms and shared spaces. The IP65 rating of the strip also guaranteed robust performance in areas exposed to higher humidity

The guest bedrooms were enriched with ORION XL solid-state downlights. These provided powerful, glare-controlled lighting by using a large format fixture with approximately 21W output and passive cooling. The lights were selected to provide even coverage across the ceilings, creating a bright yet comfortable environment that reflects the building's luxury.

Through careful product specification and coordinated supply, Orlight delivered a discreet yet powerful lighting system that elevated the visual quality of the interiors while meeting the durability and control requirements of a luxury hospitality environment .
