Middlesex Hospital Annex, located off Bedford Passage in central London, has undergone a lighting upgrade to support its new building extension. Orlight supplied a tailored architectural lighting package designed to balance visual refinement, technical performance and long-term reliability across the development.
At the core of the scheme, the ORL1019 recessed downlight range was specified in both single and twin configurations. Supplied in all-white and black finishes, the fittings helped complement the different interior palettes while maintaining a clean and discreet ceiling appearance. IP44 variants were also incorporated where additional protection was required, supporting the practical needs of circulation, residential and mixed-use areas.
Supporting the downlight scheme, VIBL3-LC wall-mounted luminaires in black provided subtle architectural accent lighting and additional vertical illumination. Their compact form and refined finish helped maintain the contemporary character of the interiors while contributing to a balanced overall lighting scheme.
Through the integration of recessed downlights, IP-rated variants and decorative wall lighting, Orlight delivered a coordinated package that supported discretion, performance and flexibility. The result is a modern lighting scheme aligned with the high standards of the Middlesex Hospital Annex development.
