The East Stand of Headingley Stadium has recently undergone a comprehensive upgrade, with Orlight appointed to deliver a package of lighting solutions tailored for both performance and compliance.

The specification centred on ORLLED600 UGR panels in 4000K, providing efficient and uniform illumination within back-of-house and hospitality spaces. Emergency self-test versions were integrated to ensure safety requirements were seamlessly met.

Large-format EZ2 downlights in 27W and 16W outputs were supplied across circulation and public areas, combining high light quality with an IP54 rating suitable for robust usage. Emergency variants were also incorporated to maintain a fully compliant scheme.

Supporting these were ORLWP5 weatherpack luminaires, delivering durable IP66-rated lighting in utility zones, alongside EXIT-LUME emergency signs to provide reliable evacuation guidance throughout the stand. This coordinated package highlights Orlight’s ability to deliver reliable, efficient, and safety-led lighting within a landmark sporting venue.
