Brettenham House
Brettenham House, on London’s Victoria Embankment, has undergone a major lighting upgrade to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. Orlight delivered a complete package balancing architectural quality with compliance across workspaces and communal areas.
The scheme centred on ORLINE linear luminaires in surface, recessed and suspended formats. Supplied in various lengths and CRI90 output, these created continuous lines of light throughout office zones and circulation areas, with emergency versions integrated seamlessly.
Supporting the linear systems, ORION recessed downlights provided discreet accent lighting, while AQUASPOT IP65 downlights were installed in wet areas. Additional layers included EVO4 LED strip and LF-TOP flex strip, integrated into details for subtle ambient effects.
Emergency provision was ensured with EXIT-LUME signs and ORLWP4 weatherpacks, creating a robust safety network without detracting from the architectural finish. The result is a lighting scheme that combines resilience, efficiency and refined design for this landmark commercial building.
