This September, most halogen light bulbs will be banned from being sold in the U.K. in a move aimed to cut waste and carbon emissions. The move could save each U.K. resident that switches approximately £75 per year, and cut 1.26 million tonnes of CO2! LED bulbs last longer than halogen while producing equivalent light and using 80% LESS power.
